How did I get a job in UAE?
Frankly speaking, getting a job in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is not at all a piece of cake. Feels Like easy when people say send Cv, to get a call and get hired. It’s certainly not so but yes you have to do this. Yet, it’s not as simple as it looks:
If I had to tell you about my journey how I got my job in Dubai, United Arab Emirates then I would say it was pretty tough.
let me share my experience of settle jobs and careers in the UAE.
I did the same as I was recommended, I uploaded thousand of my CV on all job portals in a need of a job, as I was on my Visit Visa.
Many didn’t reply, most of the companies though my CV was not up to the mark. some said you’re quite young for the job.
I also started emailing on the official email address to get a quick response. But, nothing didn’t work in the first two months. Finally, I started getting calls in my last month of visa. I walked miles to save a few bucks so that I could reach my interview point.
Because living in Dubai is quite expensive when you are on a visit visa in the United Arab Emirates. As, you have to look at your food, travel expense, accommodation and many other things.
Finally, when my visa was about to get expired I got hired by a company and started off with working there and then I was able to get my Work permits in Dubai.
Now, only career advice would be don’t panic apply on all jobs, create a good official CV, have a good portfolio along with pleasing personality and stay confident in interviews. And when you are doing job searches apply a good strategy.
